Cream Leather Interiour – Immuculate Orginal Condintion

….This auction is for my beloved 1972 Beetle, her name is Betsie. I am regretfully selling her as I need the garage space. She has been loved and looked after all the time she has been in my posession, never left outside and always garaged over night. The previous owner also kept her in the garage and the owner before that also in the garage, I know this as I went to pick her up with the previous owner. Lots and lots of paperwork to go with her, lots of receipts as with all Beetles of this age. Paperwork includes MOTs going back as far as January 1990. There are some years missing unfortunately, however the last MOT was done in Januray this year and passed with flying colours & has 7 months remaining. This is a rare exemplirary example of the VW beetle with no rust. The car would be more then capable of being a day-to-day car, however it has been used only as a weekend car, my passion lies more with cleaning and looking at it rather then using it everyday. In my experience it has started on the “First turn” everytime. The previous owner sent off for its birth certificate from Germany which is included. This proves it as a Historical Vehicle so there is No road tax to pay. The certificate also shows it has the Original engine which runs on unleaded petrol and has done 87141 Miles. I have tried to keep her as original as possible, the seats have been replaced with beige leather however, which is in good condition. I have put in some speakers in the boot which are hidden in the same carpet as the flooring, you cant see the speakers which are 6×9 Pioneers, I wanted it this way as my previous Beetle was broken into, it broke my heart so I’ve gone for a subtle approach. It also has a DVD/CD player in the front which retracts into the head unit. All the speakers and head unit will be sold with the car included in the price. It also has a Mp3 connecter which is hidden inside the glovebox. The electrics have been updated to 12v and all work properly. The heaters also work which is quite rare. The water-jets have also been updated to a pump rather than running off the spare wheel. She is in great condition and has been fully loved, the first person to see her will buy her! ….Here we have one of the best used Beetle bodyshells I have seen and I’ve seen a few, someone has spent a shedload of money on this one so it is too good to scrap. I just wanted the running gear. The front end seems to be all new and the rear underwing areas also. The drivers door is good as are 3 of the wings ( heavyweight parts not flimsy ). The whole car was body off repaired to a high standard some time back and has not moved much since, the paintwork is also to a high standard ( baked finish ) but has a surface bloom due to standing outside. 99% will t cut up nicely. Only downsides that I can see are a couple of light dents, where the gutters meets the engine lid need attention, the bonnet is starting to bubble above the hinges ( otherwise solid ), passengers door need repairing, the front offside is creased in where the wing has been bent and most of all both undersides of the heater channels are gone ( don’t know about the tubes etc. ) Only one picture because whatever I photgraphed you’d want to see something else. I would strongly suggest a viewing if your local or let me know what you want photographing and later in the auction I will add some more pics.. Obviously will need collecting, I may be able to deliver if you cross my palm with enough silver, or may be able to rent you the trailer so contact me if you are interested. ….Hello all, Due to moving house i’m having to sell my very much loved beetle. Many hours have been spent throughout the last 2 years getting it to look as good as it does. A true headturner. The beetle (1971) is tax exempt, it used to have a 1200 engine, but it had recently been changed when I bought it to a 1600. The engine bay has spacer hinges. I have installed a new interior including front seats from a mazda roadster which had custom upholstery along with the back seats which have also been re-foamed for comfort. New carpet has been laid thoughout, and the floor was treated to prevent rust. New sound system has been installed, pioneer speakers consisting of 2- 6″x9″, 2-8″, 1-active sub, 2-tweeters (that havent been connect yet, cables all in place) and AMP (VERY LOUD.) Kenwood stero, with an ipod interface which has been installed in the glove box. Outside the car, ive put on glass fibre widened wings (roughly 4″ wider), now the wheels tuck under nicely The car has also been lowered, it roughly stands 6″ off the floor, with nice wide wheels. The head lights are halogen and are a soft white colour when on dipped and they are the standered colour when on side lights. A Few things to note; The bonnet doesn’t have a seal, a few places the paint has bubbled and a few chips on the bonnet. There’s a stone chip on the bottom of the wing, hence why i now have stone defenders. Needs window winders. Slight rip in running board (which i have patched). Nothing tho that is mayjor that will distract from the complete look of the vehicle. A box of goodies including chrome bumpers and roof rack will come with the purchace as shown in photo. All the Technical work on the beetle is carried out by country cars vw specialists. He advertises in the back of volks world. MOT until next year, tax also. All ready for summer!!! ….It is with heavy heart that my beloved Beetle race car project is up for sale. This car has been 12 years in the making and many, many thousands of pounds! To start with this car was imported into the UK in 1976 (hence the DVLA giving it an R reg back then, should be an L!!) It is an August 1971 1302 S (was semi automatic) and very, very rare. My close friend Paul bought the car in approx 1981 and because he had only one functioning leg bought the then semi auto stick shift beetle you see here. However it was dry stored from about 1982 till 2000 when i rescued car from him and the 6 inches of dust! It is COMPLETELY 100% RUST FREE – NEVER WELDED!!. I then spent the next 5 years bare metalling the car inside and out including the removal of all excess seam goo and sound insulation etc etc. All areas of car were taken back to bare metal ( i have all photos to prove) and painted with 2 coats of etch primer, 3 coats of high build primer and 4 coats of Audi Imola yellow in high solid – painted by “The Golden Gun!” and the paint finish is breath taking. All panels hand finished including bonnet with a finish in black that pictures cannot do justice. I initially built the car to be a bumblee themed hillclimb/sprint short circuit racer. I removed all the semi auto transmission equipment and there is a 1303 S gearbox (IRS OBVIOUSLY) not installed. There is an EMPI HURST manual shifter fitted now. I also converted the front suspension to later 1303 Golf struts (2 bolt) with shorter springs and inserts. The brake disc conversion kit is complete, brand new and never used. The front suspension bushes and ball joints have been renewed where needed. The side windows are plexi glass. There is a Sparco FIA seat fitted, race harness and at huge expense a Safety Devices 6 Point Roll Cage installed (again bare metalled and painted). The clever bit is the cage feet have been cleverly sectioned into sills so if ever the car wanted to be put back to standard you would never know! The shell HAS NOT BEEN CUT ABOUT despite the Subaru engine which was to be installed (the engine has been sold long ago). Under the bonnet and in the engine compartment are all as good as the pics you see here. The front wings were high quality german ones with the indicator holes welded. The rear wings are 3 inch wider than stock ultra rare Wizard of Rods fibreglass wings which again were not cheap! They have been coated with 3M rubberised stonechip treatment inside before painting to add strength and prevent paint damage. All window glass rubbers are all brand new. The wheels on the car dont do it justice, it looked amazing sat on 5 spoke revolutons which sadly have had to get sold also. The car is 85% complete, it obviously needs an engine, (the 1303 S box comes with the car) it needs a manual left hand drive pedal box and small bits of trim and a n/s/r lamp which i broke when fitting up! As you can see all the hard work is done and it truly is an amazing looking beetle. Practical Performance Car said they would run a feature when finished but alas here we are. The relocation of my business and some difficult descisions have meant that the car may never get finished. I truly love this car. Grab a bargain. Remember i have not done any lasting butchery to the shell so could be put back to standard for maybe a reshell of a rusty one. It must go to a good home. The car is in sunny Worthng West Sussex and viewing of course recommended. The reserve will be set at a fraction of the cost so far! ….This is a real gem a 1963 Beetle, this car would make a really great and easy project for someone to finish. I have owned this car for 19 years driving it for 2 years before I thought I would change the style, however life moves on and 17 years later I still have it stored in the garage! so after much deliberation I have made the difficult decision to let her go to someone who will find the time to finish the job. The car is very solid and panels are very straight no welding is required although the bonnet has a dent which would pull out with no problem, the heat exchangers are all good and provide heating. The car is fitted with a 12v battery (not the old 6v) TAX exempt and will be 50 years old next year. Fitted with a 1500cc engine which is on the button (starts and runs fine) New tyres 195/60 – 14’s all round, bills for new door seals, windscreen, window kits,wheels bearings, and a few other bits and bobs. The number plate is nice 483UYB and I have been offered £650 for it from (National numbers) although if you search you will see it is potentially worth much more This car does not currently have a MOT but drives fine and can be driven onto a trailer. (with care as this Beetle has been lowered) The car requires a couple of things that I can think of namely – Seats, Windscreen wipers, interior door panels, carpet, seat belts but with these items I fitted I know the car would sail through an MOT. ….1973 Baja Bug Beetle Here for sale is my Baja Bug She has a 1600 engine that has been upgraded to a 1679 with a big barrel kit. I have installed a powerspark distributor and new plugs and ht leads The brake lines have been renewed and the hoses replaced with hell flexible lines. The rear wheel bearings have been replaced and packed and have the rear shoes and drums are brand new. I have removed the original brake master cylider and replaced it with a Porsche 944 master cylinder. I have all the calipers and fittings to replace the rear drums and shoes to Porsche 944 one pot calipers (just not got round to it). The front coil-overs are brand new and the balljoints that were not feeling so good have all been replaced as has the steering damper (brand new also). The car was in a bit of a state when i got it (see pics) as you can see i have spent alot of time on her. I ripped out all the electrics and rewired her with modern hi grade automotive wiring. She has new horns and battery too! The pushrod tubes have all just been replaced as the last ones were scruffy and rusty. She has a 32/36 dfev Weber progressive carb. The rear seats have been removed and replace with a 2400watt lanzar Amp and 2 X 1000w Mutant Speakers. The Speakers are mountedon Custom made pods (made by me) which are moulded to follow the contours of the rear wheel arches. This vehicle is LOUD. The dash has been custom made and has a midrange speaker either side of it moulded into it. Also as the view out the rear is limited with the top down a tv has been mounted flush in the dashand there is a rear view camera mounted on the top of the roll cage. It has a roll cage installed and bucket seats. New colour matched carpets have been installed throughut. She flew through her last MOT. There are a couple of things that need done (i will try to get them sorted before she is sold) She needs a hazard warning switch and an indicator relay (i had to rob these at the lastminute for another one of my beetles!) I will get some interior pics put up after the weekend. The interior is great! I believe my car is one of a kind, She drives like a dream. If i remember anything else i will update the advert. I have spend a huge amount of dosh on this bug, far more than i will get back! So please dont offend me with silly offers, they just wont be entertained cheers! She has been a labour of love but needs to move on to a new home to make space for new project!
