….Am selling this Beetle for my daughter who needs the cash to finish her other beetle. This one has been her daily driver until recently when she went to college. Its Got TAX and MOT ( the tax is free its a historic vehicle) Its got electric front one piece windows and cal look lowered suspension and low profile tyres. as with all classic cars there are minor jobs need doing but you could drive it and do these as you please. The engine was all chromed up as you can see the seats are reclining bucket seats XR2 I believe. very solid underneath, no welding required! you can view it on my ramp at home if you wish before buying. As I said earlier I am selling for my daughter she really needs the money to finish her other beetle! Please don’t bid if you cannot buy quickly. I can arrange delivery if required I have access to a trailer and transporter but please expect to pay for this service I am not your mate and would need to take time off work to do the delivery. ….Recent purchase by me as a gift for a VW nut but got it wrong as he collects Kharman Ghias so up for sale again. Very rare in UK Solido large scale (similar to 1/18) VW california look VW beetle made in Portugal approx 1991. Car is mint, box is complete but seen better days. Solido models now made in China so early portugese examples rare. Car has smaller front wheels than back one giving a low/rise california look, in awesome wave light/dark blue. My friend tells the wheel hubs are meant to look like empi & model also has big twin exhausts. Doors open & front wheels turn. Driver/passenger seat backrests move. Model is stunning & reipe for any VW nut out there add a few other touches of their own to make it a unique cal look dub. Dont be too cool, bid now to avoid losing this rare model. Other 1/17 Solido bugs appear reg on ebay……this one does not. Came to me 2 weeks ago from smoke/pet free home & mine too is smoke/pet free. Will be sent in larger box to protect your investment.

IT IS STILL TAXED AS IT WAS FREE AND I THOUGHT I WOULD DO THAT WHILE IT HAD AN MOT(GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING FROM THE DVLA). THE BODY OF THE CAR HAS HAD CUSTOM LASER CUT PANELS IN REAR WHERE AIR INTAKE IS AND REAR LIGHTS MOUNTED FROM BEHIND WINGS. ALL SPRAYED IN A BEUTIFULL DEEP MAROON METTALLIC. THE FUEL TANK FILLER IN LOCATED UNDER HOOD WITH COLOURED CODED TANK. DOORS HAVE 1 PIECE WIND UP WINDOWS AND REARS ARE OPENING TYPE TOO. THE INTERIOR IS ALSO ALL CUSTOM WITH 1 DIAL ONLY ON DISPLAY. ALL SWITCHES MOUNTED UNDER DASH HIDDEN AWAY. THE SEATS ARE FULLY ELECTRONIC ADJUSTED LEATHER ONES AND ARE SO COMFY. THE REAR IS THE ORIGINAL COVERED IN A LEATHER LOOK SEAT COVER(IDEALLY NEEDS RETRIMMING TO MAKE PERFECT).
