….VW beetle with 10 months MOT and TAX! Finished in gloss black was fully restored around five years ago to a very high standard with having new floor pans heater chanles,full front inner and outer wheel arch pannels,full rear inner outer arch pannles, rear quaters, full front clip brand new wings doors pretty much everthing from the windows down has been replaced and also genuine vw pannels were used i do have some photos of the resto. Then all the body work was done the wings have been molded to the body which looks fantastic then it was resprayed in gloss black. All this work was carried out around five years ago, the underside is still like brand new as you would expect from having genuine vw pannles used in the restoration, the bug has been rewired so all new wiring all the breaks have been redone including all pipes and master cylinder the engine runs spot on with plenty of power from the 1600 motor. The bug is nice and low and has a lowered beam on the front its been lowered 2 splins at the rear, the stance looks amazing. The bug has new slopping head lights back and front, new horn grills, new carpet set, new chrome louvered fire wall,new chrome 3 spoke steering wheel,new T bars, new beauty rings all round also 2 new one peice window kits and glass has a nice retro old skool radio in the dash. So heres the bad pionts the 2 front seats have rips in the bases but i have just put seat covers over them not a big job to replace and cheap to theres always seats on ebay , the body work is mint has a high gloss shine and waxes up beautiful but theres a few little marks here and there and some very small bubbles here and there to but nothing you would notice,you have to look close up to see them, the doors and the rear quaters are very straight with no dints to be fair its a mirror finish on the paint , other than that its a lovley bug and people love it every were i go. The exhaust in the pics has now been changed for a standard one as it was to loud. Please bare in mind I will require contact from the winning bidder and £100 deposit paid through paypal at the end of the auction.

….For sale is my 1972 tax free cal look bug which is low and loud and a real head turner that gets noticed every where it goes. The colour is porsche copper fluer blue which was done in the 1990’s so its a little bit ratty with the odd rust bubble here and there and a few marks and the odd ding from use over the years. The floor and heater channels were replaced 3 years ago and then painted with hammerite and underseal. You can see a slight colour difference in parts where I touched up the body with spray paint after welding work around the rear wings. Only selling because I have a new project on the go. 1300 twin port engine with recent carb rebuild, braided fuel hoses and new ht leads, points and cap, Aluminium oil filler. It has early panels fitted long bonnet, big wings long engine lid, popes nose and sloping porsche lights with indicators fuel tank filler cap under the bonnet. I’ve owned this bug for 3 years and spent a lot of time and money rebuilding it. The following work has been done. New floor and heater channels New front panel with spare wheel well New alternator and rewired electrics changed from dynamo to alternator for better charging. New front and rear KYB gas shocks stiffer ride and nose down at the front. Rebuilt the brakes with goodridge braided hoses, new back plates, shoes and copper brake pipes and new hubs on the rear. 2″ narrowed adjustable beam with sway aways (low front end) and front wheels tucked in. Bug pack Short Shifter Stainless Steel Turbo Thomas header and muffler. Heat exchangers for the winter, will also throw in j tubes. VDO oil, amp and tempreture gauges. New steering damper and track rod ends New rubber drive shaft gators and gearbox oil changed. Mooneyes Iron Cross rear view mirror, dust caps and door lock pulls. One piece tinted front windows up front and pop outs in the rear. De badged and de trimmed Empi 5 wheels with 205 60 15 tyres on the rear and 135 72s 15 up front. Robri gravel guards. Optima Red top battery Rear seat belts The MOT expires in April 2013. The car is located in Oxted Surrey about 5mins from Junction 6 M25 Viewing is essential this is a classic car and 40 years old.
