….This is a genuinely beautiful car. I have owned her for 5 years. 2 years ago she had a full refurbishment (all except the engine). As you will see from the photographs the interior matches the colour scheme of the exterior. The headlining is unique in a gold dotty fabric, handmade by my very clever vw mechanic man. This car is VERY reliable. She starts every time, even in the really cold weather. She is my only car and so over the past 5 years has had use most days. Last year she was getting a little sluggish when starting in the winter so I replaced the battery and starter motor and she’s all good now. I have all the receipts for any work carried out over the past 5 years. She has an excellent stereo with a connection for an mp3 player. The speakers are neatly fitted behind (into) the back seat so they are not on show at all. The only thing I can think that is not quite perfect is that the glove compartment catch broke and I have not been able to find a replacement. It opens and closes perfectly well, but is held closed by sticky tak and you wouldn’t know there is anything wrong with it to look at. My reason for selling is that my work situation has changed and I unfortunately need a different kind of car for this but from the age of 16 I dreamed of having a perfect Beetle and I have fulfilled that dream which is fab. ….The VW Beetle of my dreams. Once upon a time, a little boy dreamed of owning a VW Beetle. He longed to own one but was never able to save up enough to buy one, nor did he have the expertise to ‘do up’ an old one as he was a mechanical numpty. He eventually grew up, got a family, married a gorgeous wife and had two beautiful daughters. Life was good and he continued to save up until his 40th birthday arrived. He had seen a Beetle in a local garage which the owner agreed to renovate for him, so he could achieve his lifetime’s ambition and become a VW Beetle owner. The day arrived and he picked up his lovely new car, driving round like a teenager with a big smile on his face. The engine sounded just as a VDub should, the paintwork glistened in the sparkling sunlight and the little VDub, whom he christened Hernia, received admiring glances from all and sundry. She was beautiful. She had an all new leather interior in red and black and was fitted out with the finest carpet and small sporty steering wheel. She had black alloy sporty wheels and drove like a graceful old lady. Then came the fateful day. In order to buy Hernia, it had been agreed that the wife would use the large, expensive family car for travelling to and from work. After owning Hernia for only one month, a phone call was received and the wife told those fateful words, “I’VE HAD A CRASH!” Bugger, thought the little boy, she’s only got 3rd party insurance! The estimate for the family car was obtained for repairs, (£5.3k) and so it came to pass that Hernia must be sacrificed for the greater good. The 40 year old had achieved his dream, (at least for a month) and ensured that harmony remained in the household. Hopefully, they can all llive happily ever after!?!?!?!? Please buy my Beetle, ensure the Mrs doesn’t have to feel guilty for any longer! It needs to go so I don’t gain any further attachment and the ties can be severed quickly! ….tyreshop Store Hello and thanks for looking at my much loved Super Beetle. This Super Bug is ready to drive away it has Tax and Mot until September 2012. The bodywork is in good condition and is finished off well in Metallic blue. Underside of car is in great condition no wielding is needed. All wax-oiled and views are welcome. It has 4 new tyres with white wall inserts. Engine has just had a major service with news gaskets and seals. This is a great every day and will turn heads for a long time yet. ….For sale (unfortunately) I would really like to have finished this and used it this summer, however personal circumstances have changed and both my air cooled babies have to go ( for the right money) check out my t2 camper project on my other auction. Right here goes its a vw beetle 1303s beetle it’s a 1974/5 model Fitted with empi 8 spoke alloys and good tyres all round. Has “awesum” leather embossed interior, cd player etc Recently painted in blue, has full roll back roof. Drive very well, drove it home on mates trade plates yesterday ( first time it’s been any distance in years) Will need tuning as has occasional miss fire … Plug or lead my guess. Looks very pretty. All welding was done to finish as far as I can tell it needs the following… Horn needs sorting, washers need sorting, heaters need controls sorting oh and an mot. As I said I’m gutted to be selling both this and the camper. Hopefully she’ll go to an enthusiast No twit please … Pictures to be added shortly

….For sale is my marine blue 1303 Standard apart from the following: Kamei front, rear spoilers and tunnel tray TMI seats covers in blue and cream Centrelines Clear and chrome front indicators Flat rear lights I have a full set of 5 standard steels if the Centrelines are not your bag or we can do a deal on both sets. It has a few surface rust parts but nothing major Passenger side floor pan was replaced last June MOT/TAXED ’til June This is my daily car and has not let me down in the four years that i’ve owned it. It’s been garage stored in that time and the previous owner had it garaged since 1994 and only did a couple of hundred miles a year in it. I have loads of receipts, including the original warranty book and a full owners list. It was first registered in Anglesey on the 9th August 1974 I have the birth certificate as well showing that it left the factory on 24th June 1974 and was delivered into Ramsgate.
