….For Sale is my vw beetle ‘kizzy’. She was purchased for me approx 4 years ago as a wreck and not running. Since then she has had her engine put back in and fixed new brakes fitted. The underneath stripped and sealed. Paint worked stripped back, primered and resprayed 2 years ago. New carpet inside and loose seat covers put on – with matching door cards and dash made to match. Housing was made in the glove box for a stereo and speakers fitted in the parcel shelf. She is tax exempt and mot till august 2012. As with most cars her age she is not perfect and more work could be done on her although she is roadworthy as she is. She doesnt have running boards fitted as this is how i choose to have her although i have the bare boards (primed) if buyer would like them. The headliner that is fitted is too short at the front and taped – i believe it is the wrong one in there but this i dont beleive is a problem but could be changed by buyer if required. I had a problem with a flat battery recently and disconnected the battery i think this might be to do with the way the radio was wired up but have been told it may be the alternator but i dont know. ….VW Beetle 1966, This car has been my daily driver for he past two years and has never let me down, there are a few rust patches starting to show through the paint but nothing to serious,she was restored in the past and i have a fair amount of history from previous owners, lowered and narrowed front end on adjustable beam and lowered spindles she will go very low if you want, the beam was rebuilt and serviced last year by harry harpics, the interior not bad could do with some upholstery cleaner on the front seats and the drivers seat has just worn through with a small tear, the engine is great she’s quite happy to cruise at 70 all day on the motorway and still has plenty or poke if you need to take over a truck, she starts firt time every time and drive like a dream for an old beetle anyway.

….1972 VOLKSWAGON BEETLE 1.3 – known as MR-T! he is in very good running order and tidy condition throughout! Mr-T is having a new MOT next week and will be valid to May 2013. Drives sweet and engine is very strong with no oil loss or leaks. Has had the re-con “veg” engine fitted… which never fails to start! Few things worth listing: Tax exempt 1972 – so free tax for the year! Has had the early wing and deck conversion – “Pope nose” Re-con Veg engine fitted and running sweet Gloss black and chrome alloy wheels – new in 2011 – cost £300.00 Chrome everywhere – just had the side runners fitted last year Has had modern seats fitted with full adjustment (very comfy) Four good tyres (plenty of miles in them) – (Larger rear tyres and smaller fronts) New door cards and winder set with matching floor mats Was re-sprayed back in 2006 in mica-metallic europa blue – cost over £800.00 Had a new exhaust back in 2009 – cost £300.00 New CD player fitted with hidden 6×9 speakers in the parcel shelf Small steering wheel fitted – horn button in centre The last MOT was a big one at £200.00 – but no advisories, so ready for this weeks mot! Stacks of paperwork and bills! Must be over £3,000 in receipts! Paint work looks well with the usual light light scuffs and small stone chips. Some blemishes here and there which probably won’t show up in pics. Its a 40 year old car, its going to have a few age related marks.. Only things worth mentioning is: one of the chrome door trims has come away and I can’t find the fixing clips, the rear pope nose deck lid needs a new locking latch fitting. I have the full V5 and he is registered to me. I have owned MR-T since 2010 and have enjoyed running around in him.. ….1966 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE 1300 An imminent house moves means we have to let this go, it has been off the road for 2 years, up until that point is was a daily driver. As you will see from the pics the areas requiring work are as follows 4 new wings Front clip A-pillar on passenger side, this currently means that the passenger door cannot be opened until you are ready to carry out the work. There is bits of bubbling to the paint work in various places to the car, tried to cature most of this via the pics, It was a runner when we took it off the road but the battery dead so remains untested. It’s lowered at the front with an adjustable beam, this was new just before we took it off the road, Empi 5s, Empi shifter, TMI seat covers and matching door cards, lots of great chrome decal. Billet Aluminium black anodised running boards rear screen blinds. lots of great extras. It has a lot of potential this will need trailering away. An error at the DVLA has this as a 1302s on the V5C. A DEPOSIT OF 20% IS PAYABLE BY PAYPAL WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE END OF AUCTION. ….V.W Beetle 67 one year only all the one year only stuff fitted Welcome to the reluctant sale of my genuine 67 beetle. I now have three beetles and one must find a nice new home. I bought this bug on e-bay 2 years ago having been off the road for several years but in running order. Within a week it was on the road after a fair bit of fettling. Previously it has been seriously lowered to the degree that the spring plates have been notched, but it now rides a bit higher than that. I have fitted KYB shocks front and rear and now the handling is good for the way i drive I also fitted matching toyo 155 tyres all round including the spare and have lettered them also. I have also replaced the front drums, brakes and bearings and last week replaced both hub seals and one wheel cylinder, the week before it had a new clutch cable with pedal and an accelerater cable. It has a heated front screen fitted with a new rubber but could only get one half of the trim to fit the other is behind the back seat. There was a lot of rust under the screen rubber which has been remocved and re-painted [roffesionly by a local body shop. It now runs a late 1300 twin port AR 44bhp engine with an 009 dizzy with a CSP side exit back box, with an alternator conversion. In the time i have owned the car i have replaced numerous items to make it that bit better than it was, it has an original radio for display purposes only lol but i have fitted a chrome fascia panasonic cd player under the dash with a pair of footwell speakers. This car was restored in the early eighties and was painted in its current scheme which could best be described as back to 89 meets rat look. It is an ideal base car to do with as you please, either drive it as is as a daily or modify to suit your own tastes. Veiwing is highly recomended to get your own peice of mind about this good genuine 67. It needs some work for its next mot, but not too much, the horn needs sorting and it needs the closing plate welding but they are included in the sale. There are other 67 spares to come with the car, at exra cost i have a set of wings and maybe a bonnet if you want to discuss after the sale If you have less than ten feedback contact me before bidding.
